Email: Margaret.Keller@redcross.org
Phone: (215) 451-4907
Research Interests:
- Donor and patient testing for red blood cell and platelet antigens
- Evaluation of new genotyping platforms and reagents using highly characterized samples of both common and rare blood group antigen types
Dr. Keller and her team have extensive experience in developing genotyping assays for human blood group antigens. They have worked with manufacturers to perform alpha and beta testing of new assays and testing platforms. Dr Keller’s laboratory houses a large collection of well-characterized DNA samples, including those from individuals with rare alleles and/or blood group antigen phenotypes.
