My name is Briana Adeoye, and I am a Junior Biology major with a Kinesiology minor! As an Ambassador, I plan on connecting with the medical field and diversifying the blood donations coming in.
My name is Uunda (Aimee) Alonda, and I am a Sophomore Business Administration major with an Entrepreneurship minor! As an Ambassador, I plan to use this opportunity to spread awareness for sickle cell disease as a woman with sickle cell disease. What I want to accomplish in this program is that I’m hoping to impact people in a way that they would understand the importance of blood donations for transfusions and not just for sickle cell but for other diseases as well.
My name is Kashif Alston, better known as Kash and I am a Junior Mechanical Engineering Technology major! As an Ambassador, I plan on giving back since the American Red Cross helped me visit my hospitalized father while I was an active-duty member of the United States Air Force.

Greetings and most humble salutations! I am Alexis Powell, a junior biology major on the pre-med track from Birmingham, Alabama. I attend the illustrious Alabama A&M University, where I am very active on campus—currently serving as the Student Government Association Executive Secretary, and a member of the Biology Club, LSAMP, and Pre-Professional Health Association. It is with tremendous honor that I accept the role of HBCU Ambassador for the American Red Cross and represent my University, Alabama A&M. I look forward to educating my peers on Sickle Cell Awareness and donating blood. I can’t wait to come together as a community to help raise greater awareness. Go Bulldogs!

I hope to surpass my set goal of 100 pints and ensure that at least everyone in the Philander Smith University community knows why it is important to give blood.
Taniya Rainge is a passionate individual with a love for TV, travel, learning, and a deep affection for animals. Her career aspiration is to become a physician-scientist, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the medical field. Taniya finds solace in nature and has a budding interest in creating her garden.
My name is Kaiyah Robinson, and I am a Junior Biology major with a concentration in Pre-Health. As an Ambassador, I plan to fulfill my passion to help people in need. I hope to help at least 100 people with sickle cell disease.
